Acupuncture
Acupuncture is performed by inserting needles of various lengths and diameters into specific points over the body. The needle is usually inserted, rotated and then either removed immediately or left in place for several minutes. They can be placed in points along strong areas of energy flow known as meridians (Chinese approach), or into trigger points within tight muscles (Western approach). Both techniques can help reduce pain and muscle spasm. Sports Therapy
